All People That on Earth Do Dwell
Confession of Sin
(Book of Common Prayer, revised):
People & Minister: “Most merciful God, I confess that I have sinned against you in thought, word, and deed, by what I have done, and by what I have left undone. I have not loved you with my whole heart; I have not loved my neighbors as myself. I am truly sorry and I humbly repent. For the sake of your Son Jesus Christ, have mercy on me and forgive me; that I may delight in your will, and walk in your ways, to the glory of your name.
Minister: “Through our Lord Jesus Christ, Almighty God has mercy on you, forgives you all your sins, strengthens you in all goodness, and by the power of the Holy Spirit keeps you in eternal life. Amen.”

ABOUT CALVARY OPC
The people of Calvary OPC have been worshiping the Lord Jesus Christ in the La Mirada area since the late 1950s. We are part of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church, which was founded in 1936 when the inspiration and authority of the Bible was denied by prominent Presbyterian leaders.
We are not a “new” church. We trace our roots to the Protestant Reformation of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, which later produced the Westminster Confession of Faith. This Confession, together with the Westminster Assembly’s Larger and Shorter Catechisms, summarizes the system of doctrine taught in the Bible. This statement of Bible teaching is sometimes called “The Reformed Faith.”
